About Us

His Story: 

     Roy Rojas Jr. was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. He was an individual that made his mark on everyone he encountered. Roy was someone who had love for everyone and he was kind-hearted, he would help anyone in need. Whether it was him helping a friend with a ride to work, giving out pointers on the sidelines to his younger cousins, or giving his own things to those who were less fortunate. He always took the initiative to help, and those are just some of the many things Roy Rojas Jr. was about.  Most would describe him by his infectious big dimpled smile. Roy was a son, brother, cousin, friend, and teammate; and he wore each one of those titles with pride.

     With all the good qualities Roy possessed, he also carried a burden with him for several years. Roy battled the disease of addiction. He fought the fight as long as he could, but was taken too soon at the young age of 31. Although he departed from this earth, his spirit lives through his motto “I GOT YOU!”. 

 Our Story: 

Since the passing of Roy, family and friends have turned their grief into determination. Determined to create a legacy that would honor Roy Jr. and that is how The Roy Rojas Jr. Foundation came about. We want to reach those who need our aid.  

     Anything from a youth needing sports equipment, a student needing financial assistance to further their education, or just offering support to someone suffering with an addiction. We would like to make a difference in our community and plan to do far more as our foundation grows. We plan to pay it forward because our foundation is based on philanthropy.  

     We will achieve this by building strong relationships with those we assist, upholding partnerships with other organizations and businesses, and by educating the community on what The Roy Rojas Jr. foundation is all about.
